Find our bookshop in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire on a side street two blocks from the Wolfeboro post office and railroad station. Over 10,000 volumes, but only 2,500 listed on my website. Free coffee and tea available on cooler days by request.
We are a (non-smoking) general inventory store with all the regular options: Fiction (especially science fiction, fantasy, children's, pre-wwII), Non-fiction (Transportation for example includes specific sections on Trains, Planes, Aircraft, Bikes, Nautical and more), selected paperbacks, hardcovers, leather and signed special items.
You can see the floor-plan at our website. Our books are sorted into dozens of topics, all listed online. I could have checked every box as a specialty, but selected a few of my larger sections. Payment by cash, or good personal check.
We have MUSIC! ...hundreds of records: albums, 78s, 45s... blues, jazz, rock, country roots. John's Records moved in with me several years ago and John has helped me out a lot. We also have a limited selection of 8 track tapes, books on tape and CD, Videos and DVDs.
Regarding pets: there are 5 cats who usually hang outside, friends of our next door neighbor who are welcome in the shop when we are open. All other pets welcome in the shop if carried by their human.
Books are lightly priced in pencil on the first white page, with discounts by the stack... the bigger the stack, the better the discount. We look forward to seeing you!
